This Lab in Clemson, SC suffered major water damage during an experiment that got out of hand. This left about two inches of standing water in multiple classrooms and the connecting hallway. SERVPRO of Anderson met with the customers right away to go over some guidelines of the work our production crew would be able to perform. Due to the nature of the lab, they wanted to ensure that their materials were well cared for, as well as our crew safe while working near them. Extraction of the standing water was completed upon arrival and drying equipment set for overnight. Once the lab manager was able to meet with the production manager, they went over a list of work that would need to be done to completely dry the affected materials. SERVPRO of Anderson’s crew began work as soon as work was approved, setting more drying equipment where it was needed. Our production team made sure to work within the guidelines set by the manager to ensure the safety of their equipment.
