Hidden Water Damage in Pendleton, SC Home

toilet that caused water damage in bathroom Sewage Leak from Toilet

This family had a sewage leak when a toilet overflowed into the bathroom. They quickly cleaned up the water and sewage they could see but called SERVPRO of Anderson out to see if there was any further damage. SERVPRO of Anderson’s production crew went out right away and found that although there was no visible water, under the tile standing water was still trapped. After a detailed examination of the area, production explained to the homeowners that they would have to remove the vinyl flooring in order to properly dry the bathroom. Demolition began immediately, removing vinyl, then the crew used the HEPA vacuum, treated the area and set drying equipment. After just a few days of the drying equipment being on site, the area was dry and ready for the reconstruction team to come in and get the home back to pre-water damage condition. If you suffer any water damage, it is important to have a professional come out and inspect to make sure there is no underlying damage. Water damage can go further than the eye can see. Give SERVPRO of Anderson a call at (864)-224-0285.
